The Isle of Mull is the second largest island of the Inner Hebrides, off the west coast of Scotland. Mull has a coastline of about 450 kilometres and the climate is moderated by a steady Gulf Stream. The island is mountainous, its highest peak on the island is Ben More, which reaches about 3,169 ft.

Pennghael is a village on the North side of the Isle of Mull, it has a good set of shops and a post office, the pubs are an excellent way of experiencing tradition and culture. Iona Island is worth a visit and is easily accessible, simply take the main road to Fionnphort and then take the ferry across to Iona itself.

Lochside Beach is a couple of minutes from the house, it offers you the chance to search for shells, mussels while watching the wildlife. Carsaig beach is a ten minute drive away where the cliffs are to be admired and wild mountain goats are something to discover.

Golf courses are found at Tobermory and Craignuire, these are great courses for all types of golfer.

How To Get There

Getting to the house is fairly easy, from Glasgow head north west to Oban, from Oban you then need to sail across to the Isle of Mull, once on the Island it is a short drive to the house.
